Gov. Greg Abbott on March 31, 2020 told Texans to stay at home for the next month unless they are taking part in essential services and activities. This announcement heightened statewide standard to aid in slowing down the spread of the Coronavirus. Social distancing is our best tool in the fight against COVID-19, and the actions we have taken thus far have proven to be effective in limiting the spread of this virus,” said Governor Abbott.
