A. I’m a lot of things but most importantly I’m an Artist and a Mother.
Q. Where Are You From?
A. I’m from the greatest city in the world, Brooklyn, NY.
Q. Describe Your Genre’
A. I Would describe my genre as a mixture between New York Drill and pretty girl rap that you hear from Ice Spice, Nicki, etc.
Q. Who Are Your Musical Influences?
A. Some of my favorites include Nicki Minaj, Beyonce, Adele, Drake, Chris Brown, and Celine Dion. It seems all over the place but I feel like I’m a mixture of all of them put together. I’ve taken different inspirations from all of them.
Q. What Inspires You To Write Music?
A. I gain inspiration from my own emotions and experiences. I use writing music and poetry as an outlet for me. I like it because I don’t have to talk to anybody, I can soothe myself and be creative at the same time.
Q. Title of your main single ?
A. My main single is called “Life of the Party”
Q. When Do Your Creative Ideas Usually Come To You?
A. I feel most creative when I’m alone, happy, home (in NY), and when I have a chip on my shoulder. I’ve been doubted as an artist, mother, and just as a person in general. That energy motivates me to go get it even more and the lyrics just start flowing.
Q. What are some of your past projects & how did they benefit you?
A. I had the opportunity to record with a popular Jamaican artist. He brought me into the studio for the first time and I made a song off a beat they gave me within 2 two hours. It wasn’t my best but he and everyone around was in awe of what I did in such a short time. That was the first time I’ve ever recorded anything and it really boosted my confidence. I used that confidence when I recorded my latest project “Birxx This, Brixx That” which is my first multitrack release.
Q. Which one of YOUR songs is YOUR favorite & why?
A. My favorite song changes often but right now it’s “I Got” off of my new EP “Brixx This, Brixx That”. I think it shows my creativity the most out of all my songs.
Q. Where Do You See Yourself In 5 Years?
A. In five years I want to collaborate with Nicki Minaj, I want to tour internationally, and I want to own a clothing or beauty line.
Q. What’s your favorite restaurant & Why?
A. Right now my favorite restaurant is Eddie Vs. They have the best steaks and lemon drops in the city.
Q. Things you like to do for fun ?
A. I feel like my whole life is fun. I love making music, doing makeup and hair, spending time with my loved ones, and taking naps.
Q. What’s your favorite movie ?
A. My favorites movies are The Age of Adeline, The Notebook, honestly any romance movie. I’m a sucker for love stories.
